Lowe’s Windows & Doors

Inspiring, educating and motivating customers to take the first step towards upgrading their home.

Through customer research and stakeholder workshops, we realized that shopping for windows and doors can be an overwhelming experience. With high uncertainty, users preferred going in-store to truly evaluate the look and feel of their window or door. As the majority of users start their research online, we identified key entry points into the experience. We created a simple, responsive guide that provided a balance between form and function, style and utility. Through a lightweight experience, we broke down primary and secondary buying factors. We focused on translating highly technical terms into user-centric language. Allowing customers to take a mobile checklist along with them, we provided a “soft landing” into a local Lowe’s store where they could confidently share ideas and buying preferences with a Lowe’s expert.
